November 2, 2024 – Confidia Limited is excited to announce that the HowToPay Token (HTP) has successfully undergone verification by Solid Proof, a respected third-party audit company based in Germany. Solid Proof's thorough audit included Know Your Customer (KYC) verification of the company and its directors, as well as a review of the claims detailed in our whitepaper and the associated smart contract. This important step reinforces HowToPay’s commitment to transparency and security as we continue expanding our payment solutions.

While we continue adding features to the HowToPay Token's smart contract, Confidia has not yet renounced ownership. This approach allows us to continually improve the token’s functionality, ultimately increasing its utility within global payment networks. Integrating HTP into the HowToPay Digital Wallet, Payments API, and our POS systems is underway, bringing a seamless experience across our ecosystem.

To enable streamlined crediting of over 1.8 million existing HowToPay wallets, we have enabled token transfers without enabling public trade. This strategic move facilitates token distribution to our vast user base, increasing engagement and preparing the platform for future trading capabilities.

In addition, liquidity has been strategically added to externally owned addresses, supporting a wide array of global onramps and offramps. This ensures that HowToPay Tokens can be purchased in over 170 countries and through 70+ payment methods, reinforcing HowToPay's vision of a truly global and accessible payment solution.

This audit from Solid Proof marks a significant milestone in Confidia’s journey, affirming the robustness of our code and project foundation. We anticipate an even higher score as additional on-chain liquidity and trading capabilities become available.
